The role:
This position is for a QA Test Lead with a primary focus on Localisation Test and QA management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the definition and management of specific aspects of the product localization lifecycle, including work in the areas of test, software engineering and documentation engineering.
Skills Needed:
A strong working knowledge of development and localisation lifecycles/processes is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of several of the following: Windows 2000, XP, 2003, SuSE Linux Red Hat, Unix, AIX, Solaris and Netware.
Working knowledge of:
1. Test Tools (automation, defect tracking, test case management)
2. Operating system image, creation & restore software
3. Web technologies (Java, Servlet, PHP,
4. Character encodings including ANSI, ISO8859-x, UTF-8, UTF-16
5. Locales and exp in single-byte, multi-byte and right to left environments
3rd Level Degree in IT discipline (and at least 5 years practical experience)
Bonus skills:
