Job description: At Oak Recruitment our client si looking to recruit a Senior Deputy General ManagerThe successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the hotel; be a hands-on manager; a people person with the ability be a strong leader; inspire a dedicated team in achieving results and at the same time providing a superior service to the Hotels guests. The successful candidate must be able to achieve agreed Food & Beverage G.Ps, analayse Food & Beverage budgets, control of Food & Beverage fixed/variable costs/labour budgets; ensure that productivity targets are achieved in the Food & Beverage , Rooms Division and Meeting Rooms Departments through effective rostering and effective management; develop hotel marketing/pricing strategies. This position offers the person an opportunity to use their own initiative and working with a strong team of heads of departments coupled with the back up of professional finance/H.R departments. The successful candidate will also have to conduct their daily business using company brand standards and operating procedures and ensure these procedures are carries out at all times . Applicants must have at least 2-3 years experience working at senior hotel management level, preferably with a good knowledge of conference and banqueting, food and beverage and rooms division. Previous experience in a Hotel group or brand would provide a distinct advantage when applying for this role.
