In partnership with its client Manpower is currently seeking a Planner With strong experience in the FMCG and Food Sector the role is based in Dublin.

The client:

My client is Blue Chip Retail Company which is rapidly expanding to facilitate an ever growing customer base. With a significant hold on the Irish market the client offers an exciting and challenging work environment.

Duties:

· Develop, analyse and communicate weekly, monthly and quarterly item level forecasts from which production plans, inventory plans, and financial plans are developed / reconciled.
· Identify and analyse sales trends and influencing variables and incorporate analysis in forecasting and safety stock models.
· Partner with Production Planning to identify and reconcile gaps and supply shortages, providing early warning systems for issue identification.
· Prepare and present forecasts; inventory plan requirements and supply/demand balance opportunities for weekly / monthly review.
· Develop Demand Management metrics and action plans.
· Position will work directly with Marketing Brand Management, Business Development, Finance and Sales Operations to effectively deliver the most accurate forecast that will drive operations planning processes.
· Build strong relationships with the network of factories

Maintenance of Master Data as required

Qualifications:


· BA minimum with at least 2 years of relevant supply chain experience
· Good Working Knowledge of French a requirement

Skills & Experience:


- Strong supply / production planning experience, preferably in a consumer goods industry with retail contact.
- Strong understanding of capacity planning (constraint based planning) and an understanding of the traditional planning hierarchy.
- Strong IT skills including hands on experience in one or more transactional ERP system, preferably SAP (including APO experience).
- MS Office experience, and at an advanced level in Excel
- Experience in changing business processes and project management
