DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assembly of prototypes / products, testing and reporting of products to agreed procedure & standards.
  • Identify any problems with product and assist engineer to resolve including prototype amendments / changes & re-testing as necessary.
  • Prepare test reports for approval of engineer and filing.
  • Assist engineers in technical product documentation.
  • Maintain all equipment and test facilities to comply with the highest operating standards.
  • Comply with all relevant Health & Safety requirements.
  • Ensure all relevant work carried out complies with the required quality standard.

REQUIREMENTS

It is essential that you:

  • Can demonstrate an understanding of Group heating products currently in existence.
  • Are computer literate and have experience working with word & excel.
  • Have competence in the use of hand tools / laboratory test equipment.
  • Have the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Have good communication skills, both verbal and written.

 

It would be desirable for applicants to have:

  • A recognised engineering technician qualification.

Previous experience working on domestic appliances.
