 My client, a leading Medical Device multinational require a Program Manager to lead & manage the project managment function.

The Role:

Implements the agreed project planning, management, monitoring and control processes to ensure consistency, a common approach and accurate and timely tracking and reporting. Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the agreed project planning and management approach and processes.
  • Support the work-stream and project manages to deliver project and resource plans that are consistent in approach and methodology.
  • Review and approve all project plans to ensure adherence to agreed upon formats and approach.
  • Administer the Change, Issues and Risks review and management processes on behalf of the PMO Manager.
  • Work with the Project Managers at project level to resolve issues and conflicts and report exceptions to the PMO
  • Work with the PMO Manager to ensure that project activities integrate at a project and work-stream level.
  • Monitor and report against progress by exception up through the work-stream leaders and PMO.
  • Identify early on potential risks and issues at project and resource level and report to work-stream leaders and the PMO.
  • Liaise across other project control analysts to identify interface and dependency conflicts across work-streams and projects.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline and 5 years of related experience
  • Detail oriented.
  • Spreadsheet, Presentation and Word Processing know-how is essential.
  • Ability to function in cross-departmental environments and communicate across hierarchical levels.
