Kate Cowhig International Recruitment in partnership with its client, are seeking a Director of Nursing for their 127 bedded Aged Care Facility. This facility is a state of the art purpose built nursing home. Our Client provides a high standard of care to each of their residents within a warm and homely setting. Residents are looked after by a team of experienced Nursing Managers, Staff Nurses and Care Assistants. If you are currently working as a ADON and wish to move up the management ladder then this role is for you.
Requirements:
Ø Must be Registered with An Bord Altranais
Ø Experience in Aged Care / Dementia Care / Challenging Behaviour
Ø Non EU Passport holders must hold a current GNIB card, stamp 4
Ø Must have 3 of the last 6 years experience in aged care
Ø Management experience is essential with excellent commercial sense and a can do attitude
Ø Management qualification desirable
Ø Good understanding of HIQA essential
Benefits:

Ø Salary €70,000+ depending on experience per annum
Ø Holiday's minimum of 28 days plus9 bank holidays
Ø Working Time 39 hours per week
