Billing and Provisioning Operator
Purpose To provide operational support for all billing & provisioning activities, including: producing/monitoring daily, weekly and monthly statistics; provisioning products/features/equipment; managing number portability between operators; providing first line production system support; execute scheduled tasks & conduct routine maintenance; etc.
Key Responsibilities Produce all top up files for all distributors Manage and implement the batch provisioning of SIMS Liaise with SIM/pack distributors for Sales Monitor existing Technology systems Provide first line support for production systems Provide testing of new products / services and systems Produce daily TAP files Monitor & operate billing operations tasks such as: rating; invoicing & billing; scheduling; validation; data feeds; table maintenance; error/suspense mgt Manage bill runs including pre billing preparations, QA bill run production & verification, bill run production, initiation of downstream feeds (GL load, print shop output, etc), and post bill run tasks Perform routine and ad-hoc maintenance such as: partition mgt; number mgt; and dunning Create and maintain billing configuration items (e.g. rating/invoicing/billing generation processes) Execute housekeeping schedules (e.g. switch log files, purge log files & completed tasks) Work with and augment set procedures and processes
Profile Information exchange is a significant feature of the job with a necessity to clarify information of a more complex nature. There is a requirement for tact and diplomacy Adaptable, with ability to skill up on new technologies as that need monitoring, operation and support once deployed Strong communication & organisation skills Requires relevant experience of 1 year Capable of making decisions in consultation with other departments Must show initiative
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Produce quality results in a dynamic, deadline sensitive environment Ability to work non-standard hours and in a shift capacity Proven analytical, problem-solving, and trouble-shooting skills Structured method of working and good attention to detail are essential Competent time management, organisation and interpersonal skills Effective at working independently and within a team UNIX, SQL, TCPIP, Telnet, Windows NT and Windows desktop skills are required
Qualifications Relevant IT/IS certifications and/or training
Rate € 300.00 Pay Per Day
