Requirements:
Provide proactive management of assigned accounts. Outbound calling activities to provide operational information, product support, feature education and product needs assessment should consume as much as 50 per cent of daily activities.
Position has responsibility for the contractual health and well-being of the client relationships , including contract renewals for accounts as assigned by the Relationship Manager.
Establish effective working relationships with other managers and product leads within the organization to ensure excellent information flow and feedback on of process, policy and product changes that will affect the SMB segment.
Document all communication with accounts, accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure that this communication is being shared with all appropriate internal departments and management.
Analyze and understand the client and their business, including future business direction.
Needs to be an enthusiastic self starter, capable of managing a large account base, putting the customer first and delivering on the customer’s expectations
Must have a proven track record of achieving targets, with an ability to develop new opportunities in existing accounts.
Needs to be ambitious, dedicated to customer satisfaction with a desire to exceed targets!
A capability to demonstrate previous success will be a key part of the interview process.
Qualifications:
2+ years related professional account management experience in the Telecoms sector with experience of PBX related account management a plus!
Direct experience in up selling, cross selling and consulting services.
Experience in analyzing data, trends and client information to identify product or service cross-sale opportunities, prepare reporting or make product or service recommendations.
Experience using Microsoft Office products necessary.
Direct experience in meeting or exceeding a financial target via cross-selling of products or services to an existing client base.
Capacity to develop a clear understanding of strategic vision and translate into solutions and results.
Experience in selling voice solutions to the SMB market essential.
Direct product sales experience on NEC and Avaya a distinct advantage.
