Marketing Manager
Job Purpose
The role of Marketing Manager is a new role whose purpose is to manage marketing activities, internal and external communications.
Main Responsibilities |
1. Recommend and produce a mix of marketing and communications materials including: marketing collateral such as brochures; exhibition stands, collateral; other branded items; newsletters, both internal and external, hard copy and digital; |
2. Coordinate all online activity. Work with Head of Online to ensure consistency with respect to social networking and emerging media. Advise on microsites, advertising and online partnerships. |
3. Raise and maintain the company profile through the development of effective relationships with the media. Provide profiles for guides and websites and news items for the website. Identify events that offer PR opportunities and coordination of representation at these. Press release and feature writing.

4. Responsible for coordinating marketing events for the group
5. Manage a range of external agencies and suppliers including designers, printers, publishers, copy-writers, advertising and marketing agencies, achieving high levels of service and value for money
6. Develops pro-active marketing plans to generate new business by creating opportunities to make contact with candidates
7. Support the internal culture assist with staff wide emails, newsletters, presentations etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed for the Job
· A strong background in marketing and communications with a minimum of 3 years experience and educated to degree or postgraduate level. Experience in the recruitment industry is an advantage.
· Experience with a range of media and an ability to apply these selectively and appropriately as needed.
· The ability to develop and manage a wide range of activities simultaneously and proven experience in delivering projects to time and to budget.
· Excellent analytical skills and the ability to generate ideas and solutions to marketing and communication issues.
· Good social and interpersonal skills, an enthusiasm for meeting new people and an ability to represent the Business in a variety of forums.
· Experienced in managing suppliers and a good knowledge of the design and print process.
· Good presentation skills. Negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to interact at a Senior level
· Excellent written and spoken English, experienced in copy-writing for a wide range of media including print ads, online ads and microsites
· Ability and willingness to be flexible in terms of working hours and to travel as required.
