Job description: My client, an innovate and growing Irish company, is looking to recruit a Technical Project Manager.

The duties and responsibilities attached to this role are outlined below:

• Manage a portfolio of customer and technology led innovation projects/tasks
• Consolidate project plans: tasks, resource and timeline
• Monitor and control projects: request and use resources as allocated
• Reporting and review of projects with Technical Mgr and Business account Mgr.
• Commercial business development support: technical input to Market Intelligence/Commercial
• BAM support ref. innovation: progress customer innovation projects
• Input to formation of innovation strategy
• Keep technically abreast of relevant developments in the field
• Promote/ensure personal adherence to agreed processes and procedures
• Vet project proposals before submission to Technical Mgr.

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and attributes;

• University qualifications in Technology, Dairy Science, Science or related discipline
• Postgraduate/Masters level preferred.
• 5 years experience within a related industry
• Strong commercial awareness/aptitude
• Strong track record of delivery
• People interpersonal relationships and influencing skills
• Networking skills - internally and externally
• Project management experienceand skills
• Lateral thinker
• Information handling, analysis and dissemination skills
• Presentation skills - verbal and written communication.
