Job description: At richmond we are currently recruiting a IT Project Manager.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Makes small/medium process and system improvement recommendations that assist the business in achieving its goals and objectives, leveraging best practices and professional experience. Evaluates business process implications of business requirements and assesses possible design recommendations. Performs business case analysis and translating business requirements into process/functional design/system solutions.· Works with Business Analyst, or individually, to lead requirements gathering sessions to complete business requirements and technical design documentation. Prepares test plans and scripts to perform system and user acceptance testing. Executes test cases and scenarios for the system, documents issues, collaborates with other team members and follows through to problem resolution. Reviews and approves technical designs.· Establishes and maintains a close-working relationship with the IT Infrastructure teams. Successfully works with IT peers to develop, test and deliver infrastructure solutions. · Creates and presents Value Statements, while also completing Business Case analysis, translating requirements into process/technical design/system solutions. Develops and maintains project and resource plans. Maintains project quality & focus. Works with Functional Managers and Functional Finance group to determine required project application budget. Monitors, controls & reports on project expenditure against approved budget. Successfully manages end to end solution delivery process for significant projects with minimal supervision.· Responsible for establishing communication plans and delivering project status by publishing high quality project reports and presentations. Participates in functional Operational Decision Team meetings and assists in materials preparation for Portfolio Decision team meetings. Directs project team members assigned to the project and associated work tasks in a matrix environment. May provide input into performance reviews and quarterly goals.
