LEAD NURSE, NHS HOSPITAL

Kate Cowhig International Recruitment are seeking an experienced Lead Nurse (Band 8A).
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the new Trust divisional structure to focus your priorities on ensuring effective safe patient care focusing on quality, safety and patient experience through outstanding leadership.
You will have 4 direct reports:-
Matron for Pre-assessment
Matron for Ward 1 Short Stay Unit
Lead Resus Officer who leads both the Resus Team and the Pain Team
Matron of the Hospital's Private Unit
This is an exciting time to join the divisional team as pre-assessment services are undergoing a change to new ways of working and low risk elective surgery is being moved to the Hospital. You will work closely with the Ward Matron for Short Stay and the Pre-assessment Matron to ensure this project is delivered.
This post involves working closely with the Associate Director of Professions for the Division, Care Group Manager, Care Group Clinical Lead, Operations Director, other Lead nurses, nursing and medical staff.
You will report to the Care Group Manager for the area and the Divisional Associate Director of Professions and be professionally accountable to the Director of Nursing.
