Job description:  At Oak Recruitment our client is loking to recruit a Project Accountant based in South Dublin

Responsibilities:

• Work with Meath Incinerator project team as Financial Controlling for Project.
• Tracking financial performance against Budget
• Understanding the commercial/accounting impact of Investment contracts.
• Budget Updates, Cash flow forecasts
• Ensure integrity of key Financial Reporting Processes in SAP.
• Monthly project reporting, to Belgian parent.
• Budget process including rolling forecast.
• Drive continuous improvement of the process demonstrated by KPI's.
• Lead operational cost accounting, process efficiency, analysis and reporting when plant becomes operations 2.5 years..
• Fostering a culture of continuous performance improvement.
• Oversee delivery of structured analysis to report progress of cost management initiatives.
• Participate in evaluation on major investment decisions.

Skills:

• MS Excel / Word
• IFRS / IAS or USGAAP

Education: Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA

Work Experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience in accounting function, of which 2 years in reporting role
• Experience of a global multinational environment
• Extensive SAP experience FI/CO and Asset Accounting and Procurement Document Flow an advantage
• Expereince with infrastructure projects would be an advantage
