SENIOR PROJECT MANAGERS:
A major Infrastructural Civil building contracting with an international focus is immediately seeking to fill several positions for newly won projects in Central Africa. The projects are almost exclusively Roads and Bridges projects and the firm have a very successful reputation in this field in the region as well as an impressive going and upcoming portfolio of major projects
The candidate must have
- BS or MS Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum 10 years experience, at least 7 of which in project Engineer/Deputy Project Manager role.
- Effective management techniques to maximize employees' performance. Complete knowledge of construction.
- Thorough understanding of corporate and construction industry practice process, standards and their impact on project activities. Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
The Main Role and responsibilities of this senior role would include
1. Managing, coordinating, and administering the project from the conceptual stages through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, start-up, performance testing, initial operations, and prime contract close-out.
2. Provide leadership for the development and maintenance of a high performance project team.
3. Overall responsibility for Program/Project execution, ensuring that it is delivered within contract requirements, and standards of quality and safety.
