At Richmond Recruitment we are currently recruiting a Service Account Manager.

Job Purpose:

The Service Account Manager (SAM) serves as a single point of accountability for designated clients. A SAM will be supported by an Operations Manger to ensure client contract requirements are successfully met. The SAM manages all relationships with the client at the appropriate levels and is jointly responsible with the Operations Manager for service excellence and client satisfaction at all levels. The SAM is responsible for growing service delivery of SIS for a single client by leading the development of compelling value propositions.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Ownership of individual P&L / Cost Centre with Operations Manager - manage costs and overheads to ensure cost effectiveness
  • Responsible for the development of the Account Plan, business strategy, objectives and targets in line with clients' business needs and SIS growth opportunities
  • Develop quantifiable value propositions and processes that address client issues and demonstrate improved business performance.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and manage the customer relationship at the appropriate level to maximise customer satisfaction & retention.
  • Available to meet with and to support customers to the extent dictated by the contract or required ensuring customer's needs are met.
  • Proactively identify value-driven transformational activities of interest to the customer.
  • Familiar with clients' internal dynamics of decision making, agenda and organisational structure
  • Responsible and accountable for annual customer revenue.
  • Manage and deliver contractual commitments by developing an in-depth understanding of the contract
  • Operate an effective risk management framework within the account
  • Effectively develop and lead people in support of SIS strategies and business needs
  • Maintain open line of communication with all employees.
  • Effectively conduct ongoing operations and continuous process improvement.
  • Ensures that commitments are conscientiously met without jeopardising quality, honesty, or timeliness.
  • Leverage SIS' business capabilities, best practices, and talent across various customer and internal environments to improve cost, quality, and productivity.
  • Aligns team goals with account, unit, and company direction to ensure corporate efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure application of emerging technologies, procedures, and processes to maximise productivity and business performance.
  • Evaluate priorities, workflow, and job design to ensure the organisation performs optimally.
  • Establish and respond to measurement processes that accurately document performance.
  • Actively learn about the customer's industry to make sound business decisions.
  • Enhance credibility with customers by anticipating, articulating, and addressing their needs.
  • Actively learn about SIS and service and product offerings to allow the development of winning value propositions




Background
At least 2 years of managing the provision of IT Outsourcing services to multiple clients
In depth experience and knowledge of financial management and cost centre control
Experience of working in a global business delivering IT services is an advantage
Scandinavian/Finnish Languages is an advantage
Bachelor degree or equivalent is required

Validated skills
Good knowledge and understanding of the client and their industry. Has proven experience or knowledge of client's business issues/challenges. Understands the drivers of value creation for the client within the industry.
Good knowledge and understanding of (or is able to quickly understand) all SIS Business Units services and capabilities, and collaborates well with all Business Units to grow SIS revenue and profitability.
Ability to approach client's business issues with a “consultative” perspective and craft compelling/winning value propositions that integrate relevant SIS services and capabilities.
Ability to think laterally and strategically with demonstrable evidence of previous successful service improvements.
The ability to be an effective team player is essential
