Our Dublin based client is seeking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Windows Server Engineer for its state-of-the-art European headquarters. You would be working in a demanding and stimulating environment for a company that rewards success and hard-work with one of the best remuneration packages in Ireland.
Responsibilities:
You will join a highly skilled Windows server team, working alongside some of the best engineers in the industry. Your responsibilities will include the monitoring , managing and supporting of critical 24/7 systems and servers. Your expertise and your responsibilities will include the successful deployment of the Windows platforms on a variety of enterprise grade environments. Along with the continued management of Windows servers and applications you will be highly involved in all aspects of Windows systems including their design, development and deployment. You will be highly adept at the management and maintenance of Active Directory and Exchange systems and you will have proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Technical Requirements:
You will be a Windows professional with several years' industry experience and expert knowledge of:
Windows server 2003 and knowledge of Windows server 2008.
Active Directory
Exchange
TCP/IP
IIS
HP Hardware and monitoring tools
Automation tools such as Altiris
Windows debugging tools such as WinDBG
You will preferably combine these core skills with knowledge of networking (Cisco/Juniper), Linux, VMWare and applications such as Kana. Skills in clustering, load balancing and monitoring are also highly desired.
