Transport Supervisor Required for D15

I am currently recruiting for a Transport Supervisor for my client a Record Centre based in Blanchardstown


The Role will involve:

• Reporting to the Transport Manager
• Experience with dealing with a fleet of vehicles between 14-20 also responsible for coordination and organisation of driver routes.
• To insure all deliveries are meeting the requirements set out in line with control regulations.
• Provide admin support to the Transport Manager
• Daily management of tasks associated with the transport department
• Point of contact for initial escalation of unresolved transport issues.
• Central point of contact for all transport queries
• Management of transport system requirements
• Liaise with suppliers and internal customer-facing teams on a regular basis to ensure timely deliveries or resolution of exceptions within agreed timeframes.
• Identify problem areas and have the ability to create solutions for long-term process fix.
• Provide daily/monthly/quarterly reports for internal and external release, including reports on supplier performance
• Interface with customers on a daily basis.
• Perform emergency/priority requests and any other customer requests requiring transportation.
• Interface with customer service, customer support and management on a daily basis regarding service quality and issues of customer satisfaction.
• Observe and manage Health & Safety procedures

Requirements:

• 2 years relevant experience
• Full Driving Licence
• Fluency in English Essential
