An exciting Qualified Financial Accountant position has arisen in Dublin 1. This opportunity will afford career progression and an extremely competitive benefit package.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise the day to day functions of the Finance Department Preparation of monthly accounts. Preparation of weekly profitability statements Involvement in Ad hoc Projects and Reporting Train, coach and instruct junior staff in the department Ongoing identification of Technology enhancements Liaison with Auditors Dealing with all Regulatory matters Maintain and develop relationships with other departments in the company
Experience:
Qualified, with industry experience
Finalisation of monthly accounts
Familiarisation with Inter Company transactions Knowledge of computerised accounting packages.
Pegasus Opera an advantage but not necessary Strong Excel spreadsheet ability, excellent numerical and analytical skills
Candidate Qualities:
Have an enquiring mind and a willingness to investigate and solve problems Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
Ability to delegate work to junior staff in the department Experience of working to deadlines Adaptable - ability to develop new approaches to solving problems Team player Methodical and organised
