At Richmond Recruitment we are currently recruiting a EMEA Hr manager for a maternity leave position.
Job Description
Working to establish best HR practices in line with the company's corporate goals, this broad based HR function covers a range of disciplines. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management of the company's Human Resources by fostering an environment which is supportive of the ideas and values of the company.
As a key member of the International Management team the ideal candidates should have a minimum of 7 years experience in Human.
An organised, methodical approach is essential as the successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously and independently.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure that management and employee training and development needs are regularly and systematically identified and that programmes are delivered to meet these needs.
Develop and administer competitive Compensation and Benefit plans in all countries across the region. Ensure effective local administration of the agreed plans.
Ensure entity compliance with all legal requirements which relate to employment at the Company. Advise line managers on all aspects of employment legislation and coach them in the skills to be used in handling all disciplinary and grievance issues.
Lead the development, implementation and administration of health and safety programmes, which result in a safe and healthy work environment.
Provide leadership in managing and maintaining a positive and open style of communication across the region.
Work with external counsel and internal management to resolve any employee related issues that may arise.
Active involvement in the recruitment of senior staff in the region. Responsibility for setting the regional direction with regard to recruitment strategy.
Managing the Human Resources aspects of setting up new regional offices.
Skills & Qualifications
Degree educated with post graduate Human Resources qualifications
Seven years + broad based HR experience working across EMEA
Enthusiastic, outgoing, self confident individual with a passion for Human Resources
Previous experience working for a US company preferred.
Able to work independently, committed to driving change, comfortable with a long hours culture.
