 FASHION CONCESSION AREA MANAGER - IRELAND - €60,000 - €65,000 DOE

In partnership with its client CPL is currently seeking an experienced Fashion Area Manager for a permanent role based in Ireland.

Designed to be an easy to mix and match range, the clothes are aimed at the woman who loves looking smart and co-ordinated. Smart tailoring, glamorous occasionwear and relaxed weekend wear is available throughout the year, ensuring you look elegant and sophisticated for all your events.


Key Accountabilities:

Customer Focus:

  • Create a customer service culture throughout all units on the area, where all teams are seizing every opportunity to drive sales
  • Support, develop and coach unit managers to identify and take advantage of opportunities to improve service standards as well as to resolve complaints
  • Lead by example, personally demonstrating excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Drive and implement customer service improvement initiatives throughout the area

Sales and Business Performance

  • Responsible for ensuring that the Area exceeds all sales and profitability targets and for delivering outstanding business results
  • Use a coaching style to develop the commercial awareness of unit Managers, and ensure each Manager applies a commercial view to all proposals and decisions, based on excellent product knowledge, and understanding of local trading environment, competitors and customer base.
  • Effective and efficient control of costs and allocation of resources throughout the Area
  • Monitor and control budgets throughout the Area, whilst making each unit Manager accountable for controlling operating costs within budget
  • Responsible for ensuring that all key loss areas, particularly shrinkage, are controlled throughout all units

Operating Standards:

  • Responsible for compliance to company policies and procedures and current legislation in all stores on the Area
  • Manage the unit Managers, to ensure that all stores adhere to best practice and deliver excellent operating standards and working environment
  • Ensure that all commercial opportunities are maximized through timely implementation of Company promotions, offers and marketing initiatives
  • Coach unit managers to use flair and creativity to ensure that visual merchandising maximizes sales opportunities and consistently exceeds company standards

Team working & Leadership

  • Act as an active member of the retail team by supporting colleagues for benefit of the wider business, even if detrimental to own area
  • Provide inspiring Leadership and support for unit Managers
  • Uses performance management to set out clear accountabilities and responsibilities as well as giving praise and recognition to positive behaviors and results, whilst dealing swiftly and constructively with performance issues
  • Build a diverse team with a blend of experience skills and potential, treating other with respect, dignity and integrity and encouraging ownership of shared goals and objectives.
  • Recruit, develop and coach managers so that every unit has a competent Manager and individuals continue to expand their range of skills through personal development
