Kate Cowhig International Recruitment in partnership with it's client are seeking Experienced Sister/Charge Nurse of various specialities. This Hospitals continue to invest in state-of-the-art facilities, departments and medical teams.

The Role:

Clinical Management
Leading the clinical management of a defined ward or department, within the unit to include support and mentorship of junior staff, acting as a clinical expert and role model.

Operational Management
Assist in the operational management of a defined ward or department to include prioritisation of work, staff deployment, recruitment and retention along with the promotion of team and multidisciplinary working.

Resource Management
Effectively managing resources in all forms: staffing establishments, manpower planning and deployment of ward management budgets.

Education and Training
Keeping up with current developments and trends in clinical practice to include identifying own and team learning and education needs, maintaining competency requirements, portraying a positive image and supporting the ward/department team.

Ensuring Quality
Ensuring the highest quality of practice and care through effective monitoring of own and others clinical competence.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse Level 1 - 5 years + Heamato- oncology and surgical experience
  • NMC Registration and PREP requirements
  • Post Registration Qualification
  • 5 years post registration experience
  • Experience of working in a private patient setting
  • Evidence of recognized management training
  • Phlebotomy / IV/ Chemotherapy experience
