Customer Service Representative
As part of our clients EMEA Supply Chain team based in Tuam the role has responsibility for order entry, management, delivery and follow up. The role works closely with the Customer Planner to ensure service level targets are achieved consistently. The role requires customer focus and the ability to develop relationships with customers to ensure all aspects of a value add service are offered by our client.
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Ensure that orders are received to the system in the lead-time agreed with Customer
- Work with customers & IT dept to automate order entry activity.
- Link with customer planner to ensure orders are within forecast and adjust with customer input if required.
- Generate service level and open order reports for review with customers daily/weekly.
- Communicate with customer directly on shipment due dates and communicate daily.
- Work with customer planner to prepare issue monthly reports for review with customers.
- Management of interfaces with the EDC and Shipping to ensure shipments go on time, including issue of pick lists, shipping journals and carrier information
- Active participation in continuous improvement teams and projects in Tuam as required including customer complaint focus team, internal audit team etc.
- Initiate or attend service related meetings as required
- Management of customer complaints & updates to customer planners & customers.
- Product related calls, special requests from customers, assistance with queries and problem solving for customers.
- Facilitation of and processing of Returns and Credits
- Identify and implement improvements to processes than will improve service provision to the customer
- Customer visits as required, attendance at Trade shows and assistance with customer visits as required

Prime Success Factors: • Customer focus: Act as the voice of the customer with in out clients organisation • Attention to Detail: Accurate & timely order entry management. • Communicate and Share Information: Internal and external company communication on service levels. • Build Strong Work Relationships: Relationships with customers, production sites and commercial are critical • Plan and Organise: Deadlines are tight and critical for achieving service level targets • Problem Prevention: Proactive identification and implementation of process improvements that may affect customer satisfaction Educational Requirements and Experience: • 1-3 years experience in a Customer Services environment • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Word and Excel and generally computer literate 3rd Level Business/Language degree desirable
