Job description:

Our client, based in Dublin 4 is currently looking to recruit a QA Engineer for its offices based in Dublin 4

Responsibilities:

• As part of the continued expansion of our Sage CRM Product Development Team, we have an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer in our Dublin office. 
• The successful candidate will join the Software Quality Assurance team and contribute to the development of a suite of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) products. The QA team works closely with Development to ensure the quality of product releases.
• The candidate will be a professional who is committed to QA as a career, and will enjoy the challenge of working in a dynamic and technically challenging environment.

Skills Required:

Essential:

• Good SQL skills (MS SQL Server , Oracle,  DB/2 ).
• At least 3 years experience in technical roles with at least of 2 of these in a software testing environment (non-localisation).
• Good working knowledge of Web applications and technologies (e.g. IIS, ASP, HTML, XML, SSL etc).

Desirable:

• Programming skills, preferably with at least one script language (Javascript, Java, Perl, etc).
• Experience of business applications design and development in Sales Force Automation or Helpdesk environments.
• Technical support or Help Desk experience.

Experience:

• At least 3 years working in technical environments with web-based technologies. 
• Experience working in a technical role within a QA group would be a distinct advantage. 

Salary:

• €35,000 – €45,000 (DOE)
