This is an exciting role within the public sector in the broader health services sector. A number of vacancies exist for Project Managers for medium term contracts (6-12 months)

The main functions of the role are:

  • Contribute to the planning, co-ordination, operation and delivery of relevant projects.
  • Assist in the review of current standards, best practice and methodology.
  • Assist in review of current inspection report templates and publication arrangements.
  • Liaise with identified project partners.
  • Establish reference library.
  • Assist in the organisation, administration and project management as required.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and qualities required:

Hold a relevant third level qualification in Research, Information Technology, Statistics, Quality or equivalent

  • Demonstrable experience in project management and or research projects
  • Relevant experience in the area of research, statistics and data analysis
  • Knowledge of and experience of relevant computer packages
  • A commitment to quality and the organisation's broad agenda

Personal Skills/Attributes

  • Proven project management, administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Good analytical and report writing skills.
  • Highly motivated and ability to work on one's own or as part of a team.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Initiative and ability to resolve problems
  • Comfortable with and experience in working within a complex and ambiguous environment.

The post holder should be able to demonstrate versatility and be able to manage change and flux in their working environment. It is envisaged that the role will evolve considerably over time in direct relation to the evolving and growing nature of a new organisation.
