Job description:

Extrusion Operator Job in Antrim

The Client:
Our Client is a leading Manufacturer based in Antrim. Due to an increase in business they need to expand their current work force to include an additional Extrusion Operator

Job Role:
• The day to day running of the extrusion line
• Maintaining efficiency and meeting production targets
• Maintaining all aspects of health and safety
• Reporting machine faults and follow-up for quick resolution
• Set up and operation of extrusion machinery and water based cooling system
• Maintaining all aspects of quality control measurements
• Ensure preventative maintenance is carried out as per schedules

Experience and skill set required:
• Experience of running an extrusion line within strict specifications
• Can monitor Quality Control procedures and documentation of results, with ability to take corrective action where necessary
• Previous working knowledge of PVC profiling
