Job description:
Excellent contract opportunities for experienced Cobol Developers to work with a successful global consultancy company in Dublin. Skills required: At least two years Cobol development experience. Proficient in Cobol. Excellent analytical and prototyping skills. Programming support, program application code, software implementation, applications and systems development, configure and test debug. Excellent team work abilities. Ideally experience of mentoring and team leading. Experience working within a heavily regulated environment or public sector body. Ability to work within a formal methodology. Demonstrated experience working on large scale projects. Ability to support all staff, end users and ensure knowledge transfer. Ability and experience of working effectively in a multi vendor environment. Experience of working in a Unix Solaris operating system environment.
Opportunities exist to develop your Cobol experience further and train up in Microfocus Cobol Development.
