Data Modeller - South Dublin

CPL Solutions currently has an urgent requirement for a Data Modeller to work a 6-9 month daily rate contract (+extensions) in South Dublin. The position is working for a leading financial services organisation within the Solvency 2 part of the business.

The successful candidate should have experience in:
-Conceptual, logical and physical modelling of mechanisms for storage, processing and access to both structured and unstructured information, in support of business information needs.
-Data warehouse modelling and implementation, including design of staging areas, and the incorporation of data transformation services.

Areas of experience:
• Relational Databases eg SQL Server/ Sybase / Oracle / DB2
• General Insurance/Reinsurance
• Risk Management/Solvency-II
• UK and/or European Insurance Markets

Tasks:
• Concept/Data analysis
• Conceptual, Logical and Physical data models
• Data process modelling (e.g. procedures and triggers)
• Structured modelling methods, e.g. Entity-Relationship-Diagram
• Data Requirements management
• Database design and administration
• Data quality management
• Data transformation (e.g. validate, clean, match, aggregate)
• Performance tuning
