Job description: Acute Surgical Nurse Job, London

In partnership with its client, Cpl Healthcare is currently seeking an RGN for a permanent role on an Acute Surgical ward, based in a central London hospital.

The Client:
The largest independently owned non profit hospital in the UK, and is continuing to expand its services and facility over the last 100 years. Located in the heart of London's medical community on Harley Street, the hospital has over 250 beds, a 24 hour consultant-led ICU, 12 operating theatres including dedicated endoscopy suites and a day surgery unit, in addition to a recently opened dedicated Cancer Centre.

Job Responsibilities:
• Individualised patient care, using the appropriate model of Nursing and documentation for the department
• Supervision of junior staff, liaising with patients' families amongst others.

Job Requirements:
• General Nursing qualification
• Minimum 2-3 years post registration experience in an acute surgical setting, preferably in gynaecology, urology and/or thoracics
• Full NMC registration or eligibility to register - www.nmc-uk.org
• Strong leadership skills required to coordinate junior team members
• Fluent English and permission to work in the UK a must.

Role includes weekends, excellent salary and allowances offered.
