Purchasing Administrator €28,000 - €38,000 & Excellent Package - Medical Industry
Our clients based in Ballymount is looking for applicants for a Purchasing role. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience in purchasing. Experience in the medical industry a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Purchasing, logistics and stocking of products
- Liaising and negotiating prices with Suppliers
- Achieving targets with suppliers
- Building on key relationships with suppliers
- Sourcing new product lines
- Ongoing reviews of costs
- Supplier returns when necessary
- Day to day co-ordination of ordering, stock profiling and tracking
- Reporting and forecasting, Audits and meetings
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years purchasing experience in the medical industry
- Diploma/degree in Business discipline (preferably in purchasing)
- Excellent influencing, negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Must work on own initiative and be a proactive problem solver
- Excellent IT and numerical skills
- Fluent English
The Package:
Base Salary: €28,000 - €35,000, Bonus aligned with team objectives, Annual Profit Share, Christmas Bonus, Group VHI, Contributory Pension, Life Cover, 26 days annual leave, 5 days paternity leave, 3 months leave of absence and cash bonus after 3 years continuous service. Experience in or knowledge of the Medical Industry essential.
