THE JOB
Senior Design Safety Co Coordinator -

FUNCTION OF ROLE
To become part of the rapidly expanding design safety team with specific responsibility for the Co-ordination of design safety issues in the transportation design office.
DUTIES
· Reviewing of drawings, Specifications, Design Risk Assessments and Preliminary Health and Safety Plans.
· Co-ordination of the design of temporary works on various projects.
· Gathering of information and the preparation of Safety Files.
· Training of staff.
· H&S Consultancy for Clients.
· Site Auditing.
· Providing guidance and advice on health and safety issues to Design Staff
· Providing guidance and advice on health and safety issues to Site staff
THE CANDIDATE -
Qualifications/ Requirements:-
· Qualified to degree level in Civil Engineering.
· Health and Safety Qualification (diploma minimum preferred).
· At least 10 years experience in civil engineering design, safety or construction role.
· Experience in Road and Bridge Design/Construction desirable.
· Candidates with similar experience/qualifications will be considered.
