Job description:
Systems Technician

Position Summary:
Provide production support in a highly automated production facility and to implement strategic and tactical enhancements to these systems, to provide a competitive advantage for manufacturing. Experience of High Volume manufacturing process acquired over 2-3 years as well as an ability to work as part of a production critical team to resolve floor issues quickly. An electrical background with PLC experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

• Trouble shoot high speed automated assembly machines.
• Develop and maintain machine PLC programs.
• Troubleshoot and replace faulty electrical components.
• Programming, calibration and maintenance of robots.
• Installation and maintenance of Laser marking equipment.
• Installation, configuration maintenance of bar code scanning equipment.
• Ensure full product tracking data captured at various process points.
• Contribute to efficiency improvement projects through code upgrades.
• Training of equipment techs in trouble shooting techniques.
• Provide technical support to multiple lines and record issue resolutions in central database.
• Work proactively to ensure performance targets are met.
