IT Infrastructure Support Analyst required for leading Financial organisation in Dublin City Centre
Key Responsibilities:
* To act as the first point of telephone contact for users seeking I.T support.
* To effectively log, analyse, assign and/or solve I.T incidents to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) between the I.T department and the business units.
* To provide 1st line technical support to PC and network users throughout head office and the branch network
* Provision of end user assistance using remote connectivity tools for the resolution of Incidents
* Accurately logging and prioritising support calls, voicemails and email requests, and assigning them to the correct support team where first line resolution is not possible.
* Update and maintain user contact information using the Service Management tooling
* Problem Management - Investigating and escalating problems in a timely and efficient manner in order to maintain the integrity of the environment.
* Knowledge Management - Responsibility for the population and maintenance of the Support Services Knowledge base.
Key Requirements:
* 1 to 2 years I.T Support experience in a corporate Windows XP environment
* I.T Support Knowledge of Microsoft applications
* Basic knowledge of networking technologies (LAN, WAN, DNS, WINS, TCP/IP)
* Basic knowledge of computer hardware/software
* Knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures is desirable
* Knowledge of Service Management tooling operation is desirable
* Good Team player with a clear perception of roles and responsibilities
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal is essential
* The ability to deal with all levels of staff, in a professional manner.
* Good Analytical Skills
* Ability to prioritise activities and multi task
* Flexibility to work shifts as required
* Flexibility to work overtime and weekends, as required, within an agreed framework.
