Job description:
A leading IT company in Cork is recruiting a Senior Supervisor - Reverse Logistics Operations.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Provides supervision to the team: assigns tasks and ensures their timely completion.Responsible for the scheduling, staffing, management and development of employees in a Reverse Logistics Operation.Assigns goals and objectives for the team and measures performance. Provides performance feedback, mentoring and coaching to team. Responsible for cross-functional communications and coordination between multiple manufacturing & engineering functions. Frequent inter-organizational and outside partner contacts. Works cross-functionally with customers and customer service groups to pro-actively and continuously improve the level of service and support.Communicates the vision and mission of the organization and works closely with the team to implement the agreed strategy and goals. Represents the organization on projects and performs project leadership roles as required.Coordinates training of Reverse Logistics team to meet skills needs for current and future activities.Development of employees by use of training materials, mentorship, formal performance reviews. Sets example of behaviours appropriate in the workplace.Develops the strategy for the future of the Reverse Logistics Operation.
Education: Bachelors or equivalent (Preferred).
