A position has arisen for a Part Qualified Accountant based in Dublin South
This position has full responsibility for the manufacturing division of the organisation and is an excellent opportunity for applicants looking for a stand alone with full responsibility for management reporting and working on own initiative.
Duties of this role include:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts to agreed timelines
- Responsible for all inventory GL Accounts
- Provide analysis and risk management on key issues, such as freight, material cost saving and vendor managed inventory
- Responsible for preparing stock provisions
- Prepare forecasts and budgets for spending, non material cost sales
- Variance analysis of purchase price variance and other non stock cost of goods accounts
- Cost Maintenance and stock write off's
- Ensure procedures are followed to comply with SOX requirements
- Deal with Auditors on quarterly and yearly audits
Skills Required for this role:
- Part Qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA
- Two to three years experience in finance in SSC, Manufacturing or relevant finance field
- Ability to work on own initiative and an ability to multi-task
