Job description:
Information Systems Manager
Our Client is currently recruiting for the position of an Information Systems Manager who will be reporting to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Planning of information systems activities across the Division
• Day-to-day running of the IS department

· Management of the team
· Successful IS operations

• Appliance of Group standards
• IS expenses management in line with budget

Key Tasks:

• Work with the Divisional senior management, and with Branch IS, to formulate information systems strategies aligned with business and IS objectives
• Drive business process improvements through the use of information systems
• Gather business requirements in order to forward them to Branch and Group Competence centers
• Manage, plan and implement / monitor information systems projects across the Office, R&D and Manufacturing environments
• Manage the provision of technical support services for all information systems infrastructure and systems
• Manage the IS team, including staff performance, development and motivation
• Develop procedures, compliant with company standards, to ensure the IS department delivers the level of service required by the rest of the business
• Ensure that key management information is provided in a timely and accurate fashion
• Preparation and management of the IS budget
• Building relationships with Divisional Senior Management, Branch and Divisional IS Managers and key business users
• Creating greater awareness of the role of information systems within the business
• Manage relationships and service level agreements with technology suppliers

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an IS management role in a similar environment would be a distinct advantage
• Project management experience with a track record in successful delivery of information systems projects
• Knowledge of a broad range of current technologies and familiarity with a variety of database and Internet platforms
• Good understanding of the use of technology to support key business processes
• Strong people management skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Excellent communication skills at senior management level
• Operations and deliverables minded
