As a Shareholder Services Senior Associate you will have a portfolio of clients, for which you are responsible for, all aspects of servicing their shareholders and will be a key client contact.
Delivery of Superior Quality Service to client base;
Complete assigned tasks accurately and within appropriate timeframes.
Identify and action priority items within appropriate timeframes.
Ability to organise daily tasks effectively and efficiently.
Maintain relationships with the Investment Managers, Shareholders, Prime brokers and other third parties.
Recognise and Assume Responsibility for daily tasks;
Take responsibility for assigned tasks, prioritise and complete effectively and efficiently.
Take responsibility for ensuring daily tasks, items and issues are completed within appropriate timeframes, either personally or by the group.
Follow all daily and ad-hoc tasks through to successful completion.
Complete daily tasks and manage workloads.
Project Management - active involvement in projects within your team and the Shareholder Services platform when necessary.
Job Specific Responsibilities:
Shareholder Services Senior Associates are expected to be proficient in the following:
Display accurate trade processing and reporting proficiencies in accordance with the established work practices and procedures of the Shareholder Services Group.
Display accurate trade review proficiencies in accordance with the established work practices and procedures of the Shareholder Services Group.
Display accurate money movement, reconciliation and reporting proficiencies in accordance with the established work practices and procedures of the Shareholder Services Group.
Carry out Anti-Money laundering (AML) checks using the established practices, processes and procedures.
Display an ability to answer difficult client and investor queries in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
Requirements:
Professional qualification and/or Bachelors Degree in Business Studies and/or Accounting and/or Finance designation
Relevant experience in hedge or mutual fund administration.
Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office Applications.
