Job Title: Process Quality Engineer

Job Title: Process/Quality Engineer

Reports To: Quality Manager

Main Purpose of Job: Ensure product design and manufacturing processes are optimised and controlled to generate product quality and reliability

Accountabilities:
· Optimise production process
· Analysis of yield & quality
· Continuous improvement programme
· NPI - pre production planning, yield analysis, establish & document assembly methods, devise jigs and fixtures, liaise with test and design engineers.
· FMEA - new products and preview existing products
· Interface with design engineering, test engineering and procurement

Person Specification:
· B.Sc Electronics
· Technical Competence
· Hands on practical approach
· Innovative/imaginative
· Energetic
· Team player
· Positive attitude
· Ambitious

Technical Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
· 2+ yrs exp in electronics manufacturing
· Good understanding of practical electronics
· Capable of reading and understanding circuit diagrams, product/test specifications
· Knowledge of PIC s/w
