Job description:  

Operations Executive

The world of travel and hospitality is waiting for you! A new role at an impressive travel agency in Blackrock has arisen and is waiting for your CV.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring of flights and beds for assigned resorts
• Analysing competitor's pricing/special offers and keeping ours competitive
• Updating our reservations system with special offers
• Provide feedback and ideas, through your manager in terms of the impact and success of special offers
• Manage the delivery of required reports
• Daily monitoring of sales
• Daily monitoring of beds against sales
• Monitoring and updating of Viewdata
• Supply our advertising department with special offers for news paper adverts
• Monitor and report over bookings and flight time changes to agents/clients
• Monitoring and changing flight allocations
• System loading, updating and maintenance
• Dealing with general enquiries from reservations and travel agents
• Dealing with enquiries from our resorts offices
• Applying stop sales
• Take full responsibility for all administration and action daily
• Participate fully in all training / educationals that you are asked to attend
• Assist in the training of new or existing employees
• Attend and contribute to all team/office meetings
• Show initiative and pro-activity by recommending constructive and realistic improvements within all areas of business
• System errors to be logged with call centre and call log references loaded on our database
• You may be required to undertake projects or other tasks when required to ensure that the job role is fulfilled

The ideal candidate must have:

• Excellent team player
• Detail orientated
• Previous administration / Tour Operating experience desirable
