Job description: Manufacturing Team Leader - Evenings/Nights Working within the Operations Manufacturing Team, as Manufacturing Team Leader - Evenings/Nights you will be responsible for ensuring business goals of product quality, production efficiencies and customer service levels are achieved while maintaining a harmonious employee relations climate, through the effective supervision, motivation of the manufacturing team. The position reports into the Manufacturing Manager. Key Responsibilities: · Directly supervise the manufacturing team in your area to ensure that the service, quality and cost objectives are achieved. Demonstrate use of metrics to track performance versus goals. · Ensure safety standards are met and safe-working practices adhered to. · Ensure all procedures are adhered to and that all GMP requirements are maintained. · Motivate employees and build teams to support the plant's policy of continuous improvement. · Carry out performance appraisals, identify training needs and agree training plans. · Ensure all direct reports are fully trained and maintain all relevant training records up to date. · Optimise the use of human resources by encouraging an atmosphere of involvement, open communications and effective teamwork Experience & Education: · You will possess a Third level qualification in a Science or Engineering related discipline. · 3 years staff supervisory experience in a relevant manufacturing healthcare or pharmaceutical environment. · Proven experience of operating successfully within a quality-controlled environment would be an advantage. Key Skills: · Advanced leadership skills in order to build an effective team by providing clear direction and define priorities. · Proven record in delivering results. · The ability to work co-operatively and effectively with others to establish and maintain good working relationships. · Proven problem-solving skills. · Competency in driving Continuous improvement thru Business Excellence. · Flexibility to work evening or night shift.
