Job description: DB2 .NET Quality Assurance Specialist

Our Client currently require enthusiastic, driven, technically gifted experienced DB2 .Net QA Specialist to join world's leading technology company

Role:

For the role of .Net QA Specialist we are looking for experienced candidates to join our DB2 .NET system test team to develop tools and test scenarios covering DB2 application workloads via the .NET interface to all supported providers including DB2.NET, OLEDB.NET and ODBC.NET.

Working as part of a great team you will focus on various aspects of customer environments and usage patterns, you will design and execute systems-wide test scenarios to ensure DB2 remains stable under high pressure and high volume conditions in a distributed, multi-partitioned environment. Responsibilities of the .NET system tester also include setting up the test environment - building a large database, setting up applications to access the server and some system administration. Successful candidates will work closely with both the test and development teams on problem resolution. This will involve using your experience in software development and test practices to discover, debug and working with the development team, manage their resolution.


Required:

At least 2 years experience in Perform Quality Assurance

English: Fluent

Skills

Team Player
Good Troubleshooting skills
Works well in a team environment but is also able to work independently
SQL skill and knowledge of relational databases
Strong Programming skills in C#, VB.NET
Web development skills in ASP.NET, IIS, COM+
Database application skills in ADO.NET
