Trustee Officer position available in Dublin City Centre, with a leading Funds Organisation. Excellent package on offer.

The person will be part of a team in the Trustee Services departments. This department acts independently of the Administration department and in the best interests of the unit holders.

The candidate will report to the Trustee Supervisor and will be responsible for the review of a number of funds serviced by the department. In particular they will be required to ensure that the reviews are completed on a timely basis, and in accordance with the appropriate regulatory framework and internal procedures. Issues identified during the course of the departments review process will be reviewed and escalated in accordance with the department's policies and procedures

Education required:

Preferably have completed the Certificate in mutual funds/ Certificate in Financial services

A third level business / Finance related qualification

Skills required:

· A knowledge and understanding of the area of Trustee

· Appropriate number of years experience in the Fund industry

· Good PC literacy (Excel and word)

· Be self-motivated with a structured and determined approach to work, and show a willingness to take ownership of problems and an ability to communicate with clients and colleagues at all levels

Duties:

· Ensuring the proper processing of subscriptions and redemptions to and from the fund

· Ensuring the proper calculation of the value of the shares/units of the fund

· Reporting to the unitholders /shareholders as to whether the fund has been managed in accordance with it's investment restrictions and borrowing powers

· Ensuring that all income of the fund is applied in accordance with the regulations and the fund documents

· For transactions involving a fund's assets ensuring that consideration is remitted to the fund within time limits that are acceptable market practice

·Approval of disbursements from the fund

·Supervision of safe keeping agents appointed and confirming that the responsibilities of the safekeeping agent have been adequately discharged
