Job description: Role of Supply Chain Manager The Supply Chain Manager or Brand Manager is responsible for the ongoing development, implementation and management of the strategic and operational aspects of the local Supply Chain and Brand initiatives in non core Irish/UK businesses, supporting all the business functions of the company.Responsibilities- Consolidate supplier base to meet current and future needs within contractual requirements- Assist in developing sourcing strategies to support sustainable development and long term core business objectives. - Report on local / regional current and future market trends.- Review local existing agreements to ensure they remain competitive and to drive compliance into operations.- Adhere to Company stock handling polices and security procedures.- Liaise with UK Purchasing team to develop and maintain Company practices- Attend all appropriate meetings and ensure that the company standards and information is effectively communicated to unit employees.- Collaborate with Brand Managers to ensure roll out of seasonal menu's to replicate Brand requirement or sourcing local alternatives- Integrate specific NPD plans within local brand offers - Implementation and management of recipes to timescales.- Manage product and price promotions across brand offers- Ensure all processes and documentation is completed to the agreed standards and timescale.
Requirements- 3-5 years minimum Supply Chain/Trading experience - Proven track record of achievement- Experience in hospitality/catering/retail is essential.- Strong negotiation skills- Financially numerate- Outstanding communication skills- Ability to influence cross-functionally within a multi-divisional, multi-site business- SAP knowledge preferable
