Job description: We have a number of SAS Programmer vacancies at level I and II. These roles can be based in Dublin or Marlow, UK. PURPOSE OF THE JOB: • To develop and execute statistical programs designed to analyse clinical trial data on a per program basis. • To support experienced staff in planning program development and data structures for studies and/or projects. JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for the coding and execution of study level programs for analysis data sets, tables, figures and data listings on a per program basis •. Assist in the planning of study level program development for a study • Assist in determining the validation strategy for a study • Maintenance of study documentation and files according to departmental policy • Must ensure the accuracy of all output. • Designs the structure and format of analysis data sets, tables, figures and data listings • Liases with Data Management staff on database creation, edit check specifications, data quality and query resolution. • Maintenance of professional currency through literature reviews, membership of professional bodies and attendance at scientific meetings and appropriate courses. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • . Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or scientific discipline and a minimum of 1 years SAS programming experience or relevant Master's degree in a quantitative or scientific discipline (eg Computer Science). • Must be able to produce report quality tables, graphs and data listings under minimum supervision. • Understanding of data structures is required as well as a basic understanding of the development and use of standard programs. • Must work independently as well as on a team and have good problem solving skills, attention to detail, verbal and written communications skills.
