An opening for an Assistant Management Accountant has recently opened in a fast paced, FMCG company located in Dublin City West Business Campus.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will essentially be responsible for overseeing Nominal Ledger, AP and AR ledgers. In addition to this there will be the full processing of payroll (Micropay).
The role would ideally see the candidate progress within the next 12 months to have a more direct involvement with the monthly management accounts preparation. In addition there will be the development of the current weekly management information. The ideal candidate will be involved in the development of our IT infrastructure working with the Financial Controller and other members of the workforce. This includes development of SAGE 200 to produce timely and accurate information on all aspects from financials to daily costing.
A study package will be on offer to the right candidate and this appointment will be treated as a long term investment with a view to developing in line with qualifying as an accountant.
Key Attributes:
The ideal candidate will be working towards a professional qualification such as CIMA/ACCA/CPA.
The individual will have a minimum of 2 years prior experience in accounts and previous experience of SAGE is advantageous.
It is very important that the individual works on initiative, constantly challenging how and why things are done. A pro-active approach would also be a pre-requisite.
