Director of Nursing Job, Aged Care, Co. Kerry
In partnership with its client, Cpl Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Nurse for a permanent Director of Nursing role, based in the beautiful area of Listowel, Co. Kerry.
The Client:
A wonderful 33 bedded Aged Care facility, providing the highest possible standard of care to their residents.
Job Responsibilities:
· Clinically and professionally leading the day to day operations of the Nursing Home, with the assistance of the Assistant Director of Nursing.
Job Requirements:
· General Nurse with full An Bord Altranais registration
· Min. 5 years post-graduate experience , with at least 3 out of the last 6 years working in the Gerontological field, and previous experience at Senior Nurse/ADON level
· Knowledge of HIQA standards essential
· Healthcare management and/or Gerontology qualifications desirable
· Strong leadership skills, and be able to form excellent relationships with residents, their families and staff alike
· Fluent English and permission to work in Ireland a must.
Working hours Monday to Friday,38 hour week. Salary and benefits negotiable, dependent on experience and skills.
