Job description: My Client a leading Life and Pensions company are currently engaged in a large change programme and are looking to recruit a Business Analyst with strong change experience within the sector.BAs will report in to a SBA who will be co-ordinating the overall analysis workstream. Focus for BA will be on gathering, defining, documenting and agreeing signoff on business requirements for a particular aspect of the project through workshops, video conferences and teleconferences. BA will have direct ownership for particular parts of the analysis and will need to keep the SBA and the Program Lead updated on issues that arise. Examples - Documentation - New Business, Servicing - Letters,, Benefit Statements etc - New Business - defining requirements driven out from New Business Process, proposal, issue requirements, product set up requirements, new fields on application form which need to included on the policy administration system etc. My client is looking for candidates with a business focus and strong communication skills who can drive out the business needs and document them clearly as business requirements. More technical IT experience is not a pre-requisite but would be an advantage as in effect the BAs will act as a liaison point between IT and the business users so it helps to understand both areas. They will not be required to define system solutions but will walk through the suite of business requirements with the IT and technical teams (including third party suppliers). Fluency in German would be an advantage for the current project we have in mind.
