Job description:  In partnership with its client Manpower is currently seeking an RF Technologist

The client: My client is a blue chip Industrial company with significant staff retention and excellent career progression, the client offers an exciting and challenging work environment. The role is based in Dublin.

Description:

• Maintain and manage the day to day operation of the RFTC
• Set up RF lab equipment, including generators, analysers and S parameter test set.
• Configure specialized software (ADS and 89600 VSA software)
• Run RF test cases where required.
• Construct RF test jigs where required
• Calibrate RF equipment on weekly basis
• Order specialized RF components and deal with RF suppliers.
• Prototype SMT RF assemblies
• Interface with college concerning equipment loans/ transfers
• Take responsibility for Lab houskeeping and security
• Maintain accurate log books concerning equipment and lab usage
• Write test scripts for equipment control using ADS or matlab
• RF Test Case Development; Review and advise on basic test procedures with reference to the equipment set

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have some RF laboratory experience and some experience of new product introduction
• Knowledge of CAD and Simulation software would be an advantage
• The candidate will be required to be on-site during normal office hours
