Job description:  
Our client, a household name company, wishes to recruit an Industrial Engineer

Contract: 12 months with review for Permanent Position

The Job: - Industrial Engineer:

To set all industrial engineering standards in the plant (incl. Line Layouts). To know the processes in the plant. To ensure the plant is up to date and using the latest production management techniques (incl. Lean / Six-Sigma). Continually high light deviations from industrial engineering standards. Agree & assist in implementation of corrective actions. Define and enforce required changes. To identify opportunities within the Plant. whereby cost can be reduced through the deployment of alternative processes, equipment and / or automation. Manage a small portfolio of both Capex and Non-Capex projects using best practice methodologies.

Requirements: - Industrial Engineer:

• Educated to BSc level or equivalent in a relevant Industrial Engineering discipline.
• Experience of a wide variety of manufacturing processes, min 8 years
• Practical application of theoretical learning in the “Real World”.
• Project management experience with proven track record.
• Demonstrable interest in technology and leading edge production management techniques.
