Our client is a leading manufacturing company for pharmaceutical products. They currently have a vacancy for a Senior Microbiologist. This is a full time contract role for 12 months.
As the Senior Microbiologist you will be responsible for providing microbiological expertise and support to the site as required.
Responsibilities:
Provide subject matter expert support to the product registration process.
Ensure highest quality standards are maintained in all written documentation particularly those open to regulatory restrictions and that industry best practice is adopted in accordance with current GLP, GMP and regulatory body directives.
Engage with and provide subject matter technical support to the site expansion team including developing cleanroom qualification program, Isolator microbiological controls and media fill program.
Ensure validity of all test methods in the laboratory are established and documented.

Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a science related discipline (preferably Microbiology/Pharmaceutical Sciences) and a minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical industrial experience preferably within a microbiology department.
Knowledge of working within an FDA/IMB regulated facility (preferably sterile injectables).
Knowledge of Aseptic Processing.
Knowledge of Monitoring and Management of the Microbial Environment.
