Our large manufacturing Client in Galway are looking to recruit a Business Unit Manager for their large plant in Galway.Summary:You will have ultimate accountability and ownership to deliver manufacturing business unit success. The team consists of engineers, team leaders, line co-ordinators, technicians and operators.Duties:* Plan, manage and control department performance by establishing overall direction and priorities, using goals & metrics.* Liase with production team. Drive and promote quality workmanship and continuous improvement in all manufacturing processes* Financial discipline and compliance to site budget & customer agreed cost models.* Successful continuous improvement methodology in operation and delivering continuously improving measurable business results.* Ensure retention of all external, professional standards, e.g. ISOManagement of resource.Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
